Technical equipment

The ABC of the modern production is to constantly renew the equipment included in the production cycle. Starting from the second half of 2004, the UGC constructed and commissioned 8 hectares of new modern winter glass greenhouses for growing tomatoes in accordance with the automated modern technology. The height of these greenhouses – 5 meters – is their peculiarity. With the use of Dutch sorts of high-growing tomatoes and on condition of adherence to the growing technology such height enables to achieve good harvesting indicators.
The construction-technical support of the greenhouses is ensured by the following components: - rational multi-circuit heating system, including the over-soil, substratum and roofing heating circuits as well as the growth pipes;
- systems of covering the greenhouses by heat-preserving and sunscreen shields;
- ventilation systems for leveling the temperature around the surface of the greenhouses;
- system of fertilizing the plants by the CO2, with simultaneous intake and utilization of the heat energy of the gases from water-heating tank;
- system of drop watering the plants with the automated soluble units;
- systems of automated (computed) control and the management of technological processes, ensuring the necessary parameters of the greenhouses micro-climate.
This is the level of today, it’s still rapidly developing. |
